Umbrella Plant - Schefflera Arboricola

The Umbrella plant is native to Taiwan, Hainan, and Australia. Given their native region, these plants thrive with bright indirect light, moderate watering, and medium humidity. These plants can tolerate low light but will become leggy. They are good for the novice plant parent since Schefflera is very forgiving to neglect. However, they are very susceptible to pests so be sure to look over the plant well before adding them in with your collection. They typically have beautiful gold and green variegation on the leaves so they are perfect if you are looking to add a little color. They are not pet-friendly plants so it's best to keep them out of reach.
