Snake Plant - Sansevieria

A great plant for neglectful plant parents. This is because the Snake Plant can survive in just about any light setting, is drought resistant, and grows very quickly. The brighter the light setting, the more quickly the plants will grow. It survives periods of drought by storing water in its thick root systems. However, you have to be careful when selecting their planter since their roots have been known to burst through fragile pots. Snake plants are recognized by NASA as one of the best houseplants for air purifying. There are dozens of types of snake plants, I currently have six different varieties.
