Burro's Tail - Sedum Morganianum
The Burro’s tail succulent is native to Southern Mexico. In the USA it is often referred to as the Donkey's Tail because burro is Spanish for donkey. Whatever the language, this plant is named for its long growth resembling a donkey’s tail. This plant likes full sun to partial shade. Like most succulents, it has low water needs and does not like humidity. The only reason I believe this plant needs a green thumb is that it is very fragile. If you move the plant to be watered, nudge it while walking past, or even look at it the wrong way it will drop leaves. This can lead to a sparse and leggy plant. Luckily this plant is pet friendly so if a few leaves drop your furry friends should be safe.
